So I’ve officially decided that my love of Halloween and everything spooky means I am going to do a 31 day challenge on a variety of things. This is one of my absolute favorite times of year. I did, however, get some inspiration from Tatterhood as she is doing a 31 Days of type deal. Her blog is also awesome, you should check it out if you haven’t already. *wink*

I also went back to my old Tumblr account and found a challenge I did then and felt compelled to do this. The excitement became too much and I knew it was happening. I do believe I’ve thrown myself down a rabbit hole, yet again, as I have been reliving 24-25 year old Betsy’s musings at the time. Some of it is extremely hard to read because I never thought I’d be where I am right now to be completely honest. That’s for another blog! So, let’s get this thing started, shall we?

Day One: Favorite Halloween Movie

The Haunted Mask

I remember watching this so many times during October when I was younger, I mean come on…Goosebumps! The Haunted Mask always spooked me, poor poor Carly Beth and that hideous mask.

“Readers beware…You’re in for a Scare!”

Talk about childhood. I probably had the whole Goosebumps collection that had been read over hundreds of times. When they made that book into a movie, I was thrilled. I still to this day, watch that movie without fail. I also still get sick when she bites into that sandwich that a boy put a worm into when she wasn’t looking. *gag*

As far as the Goosebumps books series, my favorite one, hands down, was The Haunted School. I guess I have a thing for “Haunted” in the title. Book number 59 of the series, released September 1997. I was in first grade, how weird to think about. Always fun taking trips down memory lane, am I right?
